The Uluru-Kata Tjuta is one of the few sites listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list for both its cultural and natural values. The Anangu are the traditional owner of the park, and while they have stopped practicing their cultural rites at Uluru, they keep their traditions well alive at nearby Kata Tjuta (pictured here). Kata Tjuta are as impressive (if not more) as Uluru, but tourists may only walk in restricted areas.
