The harsh environment led to the Viking era, known worldwide as fear-inducing warriors but who where essentially farmers and settlers, struggling to find suitable land for crops and cattle, and centuries later to socialism as people need to cooperate to survive. But this harsh environment is also one of the most beautiful on earth. Fjords, glaciers, lakes, mountains, beaches... Velkommen til Norge.
